Here’s Why The Queen May Not Be Attending Harry And Megan’s Wedding

Do you agree?

We’re all waiting with bated breath for the wedding of the year next spring, but it seems one very important Royal may be declining the invite.

Queen Elizabeth, Harry’s grandmother, and head of the Church of England is said to be unable to attend the wedding due to the fact that Harry’s fiancee Megan is a divorcee.

Megan was married to Trevor Engelson from 2011 to 2013, then divorcing due to irreconcilable differences. The Queen has given her blessing for the wedding to go ahead, but is said to have to take her duties seriously and not attend the religious ceremony.

Although this seems quite harsh, the same reason caused Elizabeth to miss the wedding of her own son, Charles, to Camilla Parker-Bowles in 2005.

The fact that the wedding is due to take place as a religious ceremony at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, may mean the Queen can attend on a technicality.

What do you guys think of the Queen’s decision?
