It’s Happening?! Jade Thirlwall Responds To Rumours She’s Playing Jasmine In Aladdin

Rumours have been swirling that Little Mixer Jade Thirlwall is set to put her music career to one side (temporarily) to take up the role of Jasmine in the new live-action remake of Aladdin.

The Sun reported that the singer was tipped to take on the role and ever since then peeps have been getting hella excited about her potential new career move, while others have been worrying about what it could mean for the future of the band.

To date though, no one in the Little Mix camp has responded to the rumours… well, until now.

Jade herself has reportedly addressed the speculation, but has remained incredibly coy in doing so.

Speaking at the Capital Summertime Ball, the singer said “I can’t confirm nor deny that, but the group always comes first whatever happens.”

Hmm. Interesting. Given that she didn’t flat out deny the rumours, we’re taking that as a yes.
