Jesy Nelson’s Boyfriend Chris Clarke Has Had To Apologise For ‘Racist’ Remarks He Made On Twitter

He's had to issue a statement on the matter.

TOWIE’S Chris Clark has had to apologise after using racist language on Twitter.

In a series of tweets from 2012 to 2013, the TOWIE star voices some controversial and insensitive opinions, and even goes so far as to call himself a racist.

A rep for Chris has since issued a statement to The Sun.

“The posts are from four and six years ago when Chris was only 15 and 17 years old,” it reads.

“These are not the kinds of messages which represent him in 2017. He was a big fan of rap music and foolishly adopted some of the lyrics of his favourite artists in these posts.

“He understands how inappropriate these messages are, particularly now he reaches wider audiences and he deeply regrets his actions.

“He apologises unreservedly to anyone offended by these posts and reiterates that he had no ill intention.”

The offending tweets have since been deleted.
