‘Rise Above It All’: Did Katy Perry Just Shade Taylor Swift Over Kim’s Leaked Snapchat?

Selena Gomez, Khloe Kardashian, Chloe Grace Moretz. It seems everyone has an opinion on the Taylor Swift drama that was sparked by Kim’s Snapchat video.

In the vid, Kim shares a telephone conversation between Kanye and Taylor, in which she seems to consent to being mentioned in Kanye’s track Famous.

But what about Katy Perry AKA Tay’s arch nemesis, who just last week Cavlin Harris revealed as the target of Taylor’s track bad blood?

Well, not surprisingly, Katy isn’t keeping quiet either.

Sharing a link to her new single Rise, she seemed to allude to the leaked video with a subtly cryptic caption: Rise above it all.


While that message may seem innocent enough, Katy’s not one to keep schtum when it comes to Tay. After all, just last week she tweeted the following when Calvin called Taylor out on Twitter:


It’s not too much of stretch to say that Katy could be throwing some low-key shade Taylor’s way again, though of course it could just be a great way for Katy to plug her new single.

As one fan points out, she’s released the track at just the right time, amongst all the drama.

So whaddya reckon? Is her tweet a direct message to Tay to say that she doesn’t want to be a part of her drama anymore or is she simply capitilising on the extra media coverage to promote her new single?
