Snow Go: This Weekend’s Forecast Might Just Scupper Your Plans
We're bundling up with Netflix and treats for sure.
We’ve had a pretty decent run of it weather-wise so far this Autumn. It’s been mild, it’s been dry and most importantly, we haven’t had any morto hair-stuck-on-lipgloss moments thanks to those cold and blustery breezes that the cooler months normally bring.
Sadly it seems that could all be set to change this weekend, as Met Éireann predicts that we’re in for a bit of a miserable one with winter well and truly setting in.
From tonight temperatures are set to drop to a chilly 1 to 6 degrees celsius, with similar temps and thundery showers following tomorrow, along with cold, blustery winds and frost.
Lovely.
On Saturday, expect colder temperatures again but sunny skies with occasional light showers in northwest coastal counties and eastern regions.
As for Sunday, well, you might want to wrap up warm as Met Éireann says we may see snow, though potentially only on higher ground. Heavy showers, widespread frost and highs of only 6 degrees are also expected.
Hey, if nothing else, it’s an opportunity to order takeaway, light the fire and catch up on Stranger Things.
