So Touching! Lea Michele Reveals Tattoo Honouring The Late Cory Monteith In Nude Magazine Shoot

It’s been three years since Cory Monteith’s passing in 2013 and it’s clear that his Glee co-star and girlfriend Lea Michele still holds him very dear, recently posting a heart-wrenching post on Instagram to mark the third anniversary of his death.

But social media aside, Lea this week revealed a very personal and private way she chooses to remember Cory.

Posing in a nude shoot with Women’s Health, the Glee actress bared all on the mag’s cover, including a tattoo of the word ‘Finn’ (the name of Cory’s character on the show) inked on her left hip.

This latest tat accompanies two others that Lea has inked on her skin to honour Cory: a number 5 representing Finn’s football number on the show, and ‘if you say so’ on her ribcage, alluding to the last thing Cory said to her before his death.

While Cory’s death has certainly had a huge emotional impact on Lea, the shoot’s accompanying interview suggests that she has started the healing process and begun to move into a better headspace.

She tells the mag, “Right now, I feel physically in my best shape and emotionally in my best place.”
