Swoon! Here’s The A/W Style Staple Olivia Palermo Is Adding To Her Wardrobe Right Now
We're so on board with it. Are you?
With the winter setting in and our wardrobes requiring a much-needed revamp, we find ourselves coming back to the same thought: What would Olivia do?
A woman who can literally do no wrong in our eyes, Olivia Palermo has served as our girl crush, muse, style icon and all round source of envy.
That wardrobe and that husband? Yeah…that’s really not fair!
But despite our deep-seated jealousy, we still manage to love our girl Liv. And how could we not? With outfit inspo at every turn we will continue to worship Palermo as long as she continues to wear clothes.
The one garment she’s gravitating towards right now? It’s culottes. Yep, she’s been spotted rocking them on more than a few occasions recently, and naturally we want in.
All the refined, ladylike feel of a midi skirt with the utilty of trousers, we’ve got cuLOTtes of love for this trend, and Olivia sure knows how to keep them looking slick during the winter time too. Polo necks. chunky knits and some statement boots, Ms. Palermo shows that culottes can weather any season.
Our Fashion Editor, Linda, is inclined to agree, showing what’s up in these pretty in pink pants from Topshop. Styled expertly with a simple black jersey top and sophisticated pumps, Linda is ready to rival It-Girl Olivia in this unreal get-up.
Why not put the pants to the test yourself with some of our faves from the high street?
Here’s a few we’re shopping – and you’ll find more in the December issue, on shelves now!
Culotte jumpsuit, €29.99, New Look
Wide leg culottes, €45, River Island
Wasit tie culottes, €21, Missguided
