The Barbie Soundtrack is Here – And It’s Insane!

The Barbie Movie isn’t out for another month – and it’s all we can talk about. Now, we have something to listen to while we wait for the film’s release. The soundtrack for the film has just been dropped, and it is something else.

We’ve already heard Dua Lipa’s Dance The Night, the main song for the movie, which came out on May 26th with a video to match. But she’s far from the only one! It looks like there’s a whole host of original music to come, with a whopping 17 artists confirmed to be contributing – including Ryan Gosling, who’s contribution is a song titled I’m Just Ken. Gas!

Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice will be teaming up for the film with a song called Barbie World, while Pink Pantheress has a tune Angel which features an Irish inspired reel in the middle. Iconic! Other notable inclusions are HAIM, Khalid, Lizzo, Kali, Dominic Fike, Charli XCX, Tame Impala and KID LAROI.

Allegedly there are a few more surprise artists to be announced closer to the time, with rumours that Taylor Swift, Lady Gaga and Doja Cat may all be making an appearance on the soundtrack. Eeeek! Looks like our August playlist is sorted.
