‘There’s A Little Bit Of A Story Behind It’: Here’s What Niall Horan Has To Say About How Liam And Cheryl Got Together

We all know how Liam and Cheryl first met. After all, when Liam walked on to the X Factor stage in 2008 for his first audition in front of then judge Cheryl Cole, it was broadcast to half the country.

What we don’t know is how this unlikely pair came to be a couple earlier this year, shortly after Cheryl’s split from her second husband Jean Bernard Fernandez Versini.

Dishing up some of the deets on Cheryl and Liam’s relationship is ex bandmate Niall Horan, who’s been chatting to Hello! Magazine about his feelings on the couple.

“She seems happy, he’s happy, so I’m happy for them,” he tells the mag. “She’s a great girl, really fun. He’s a top man and one of my best friends.”

Cute, right?

But here’s the part we’re really interested in: during the interview, Niall also alluded to how #Chliam came to be stating that “’There’s a little bit of a story behind it…” and leaving us hella intrigued.

Unfortunately, Niall isn’t giving anything away, adding that, “but I won’t be telling you that”. Spoilsport!

We guess the love story of Cheryl and Liam will remain a mystery, unless the couple – or Niall – decides to reveal all.
