This Is The €48 Foundation Kim Kardashian Wore On The VMAs Red Carpet Last Night
Bronze was the order of the day for her awards night make-up.
When it comes to Kimmy K’s make-up we kinda know what to expect by now: a full coverage matte base, heavy contour and extreme lashes, but on last night’s VMAs red carpet, she ditched her signature look, and opted for something a little bit different.
Chatting to The Daily Mail post-awards show, Kim’s MUA Mario Dedivanovic confirmed our suspicions and revealed that her make-up “wasn’t a classic Kim look.”
‘We used a lot less product than we normally do. I just came back from being in Hawaii for two weeks, and I was inspired by all the bronzed girls there who looked so dewy and natural. So we went with this Greek goddess vibe with kind of a Mediterranean feel.’
Natural or not though, Kim’s awards night make-up still cost a helluva lot of cash, checking out at €246 in total.
Laura Mercier products were the name of the game and Mario shared a pic on Instagram of the full kit.
First up, was Laura Mercier’s Candleglow Soft Luminous Foundation in Maple, €48, which Mario layered on after a touch of emollient, and then set with Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting powder, €42 and Matte Radiance Baked powder in Bronze, €40.
Then it was on to create Kim’s bronzy, dewy glow with Second Skin Cheek Colour in Peach Whisper, €30 and Face Illuminator Powder in Addiction and Devotion, €40.
For the eyes, Mario created a subtle smokey look with Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Sand Glow, €30 and the Eye Art Caviar Colour-Inspired Palette, €52.
Last up, it was a swipe of Velour Lovers Lip Colour in Sensual, €20 and a little lining with Lip Pencil in Hazelnut Tea, €24 – and done, a red carpet look, in under an hour.
