THREE New Louis Theroux Documentaries Are En Route And They’re Going To Be Brilliant!

Louis has outdone himself this time around.

Brace yourself Louis Theroux fans, because the hit document-maker is back and his latest watchings are set to be more gripping than ever.

Following on from Theroux’s 2016 docu on Scientology, the journalist is set to explore “dysfunctional and disturbing aspects of American society” in three new documentaries coming this year.

The topics? Murder, sex trafficking and opiate dependency, so yeah, it’s pretty heavy stuff.

“I immerse myself in some of the most dysfunctional and disturbing aspects of American society,” Theroux said of the new shows.

“They combine hard-hitting actuality with intimate interviews.

“I have been granted access to the police in several states,” he added. “I’ve got to know the people affected by crime; and I’ve also spent time with the perpetrators of crime, with the idea of understanding the causes of it, both on a systemic level and also in a very personal way.”

The feature-length documentaries are set to air on BBC Two later this year.
