Tom Clare Breaks His Silence On His Split From Samie Elishi
It's official...
Tom and Samie are definitely over, and Tom has just confirmed the news, just in case you were holding on to any hope that the finalists were still together.
Posting a statement to his Instagram story, Tom wrote, “Didn’t think I’d be writing this, but me and Samie have gone [our] separate ways… We are still on good terms and I have nothing but love and respect for her. I’m gutted it [has] come to an end but I truly wish Samie the best.”

This comes after breakup rumours were swirling the internet earlier this week.
A source told The UK Sun, “Samie and Tom have sadly decided to call it a day. There is a lot of love and respect there but it just wasn’t going anywhere. The distance between them was too much and they are both really focused on their careers post Love Island.”
Samie is from Essex and Tom is from Barnsley, so the pair have been trying to make their relationship work long-distance since leaving the villa.
Samie has yet to share a statement about the breakup directly, although she did let her followers know she was, “not feeling herself” in an Instagram story yesterday.
The couple came in third place in the winter series of Love Island this year and seemed to be going strong since the villa with Tom saying they were working on making the long-distance work for them just last month.
They aren’t the only Love Island couple to end their relationship recently, 2020 winners Paige Turely and Finley Tapp have reportedly gone their separate ways too after a three-year relationship. That’s a lot of heartbreak for this week…
