Was Maura Higgins Just Spotted Kissing Joey Essex?

The duo we did not see coming, but we love it?!

Irish Love Island star Maura Higgins and TOWIE star Joey Essex were just spotted locking lips backstage at the Pride Of Britain Awards, sparking romance rumours.

The pair can be seen in pictures published by the MailOnline getting very close and kissing as well as leaving together in a taxi.

Maura looked stunning as always in a dramatic yellow ballgown and an up-do, it was giving modern day Belle from Beauty And The Beast.

Joey looked slick in a black suit and red tie, with his hair gelled back in true Joey Essex fashion.

There has been no comment just yet from Maura or Joey on the situation, so for now we will be watching this space…

This sighting comes soon after Maura was tipped to head into the jungle for this year’s I’m A Celeb, as it returns to its roots in Australia after two years in a castle in Wales due to Covid. A show that Joey Essex once competed in, finishing in fourth place in 2013 (how has it been nine years?!). If she is heading in, we wonder if she has been asking Joey for tips…
