Kelly Clarkson Is Getting Slated For ‘Child Abuse’ For Feeding Her Daughter Nutella

Fans have blown it completely out of proportion.

Kelly Clarkson gave her daughter Nutella on toast, and she’s been getting slated online because of it.

The singer posted a video to Instagram of two-year-old River tasting the chocolate spread for the first time, and she captioned it, “River’s first Nutella experience. It should have been via crepe but toast was easier ? “.

The little girl looks super happy, and confidently says ‘yes’ when Kelly asks her if she likes it.

But fans of the American Idol winner are voicing their disapproval of Kelly’s parenting underneath the video.

One person wrote, “Stop eating Nutella. It’s been confirmed to give cancer.”

Nutella confirmed the safety of its product via Twitter in January, saying “Safety is our top priority. We carefully select raw materials & use production processes w/ strict quality criteria to ensure safe products.”

Another person said, “Nutella is PACKED with sugars. Don’t make your kids blow up.”

The worst comment of all has to be from a woman who said, “Giving food like this to a child is child abuse.”

Sigh. From what we’ve seen, Kelly is a great mother. We hope she doesn’t take the cruel criticism of trolls to heart.
