Nineties Kids Mourn As Home Alone Actor Passes Away

Actor John Heard, AKA  Peter McAllister in everyones favourite Christmas movie Home Alone, has sadly passed away at the age of 72.

The actor, who came to fame on the classic movie, was also known for his roles alongside Tom Hanks in Big and Bette Midler in Beaches. He was also nominated for an Emmy award for his role as  corrupt detective Vin Makazian in The Sopranos.

It is understood that he died in Calfornia following minor back surgery last week.

“I am shocked and saddened to awake to the news that John Heard passed away last night,” Robert Patrick, a friend of the late actor said on Instagram.

“Such a gifted actor! I am so grateful I had the opportunity to watch, work, and spend time with him. This is tragic news.”

Rest in Peace to a true legend.
