Ellen DeGeneres loves scaring her guests and whether she’s jumping out at them herself or watching as someone else does it, she leaves us in stitches every time.

Today, it was our very own Niall Horan who got a fright as he was chatting to the TV host about his new album, Flicker. The Mullingar-native was answering a question about his One Direction bandmate, Harry Styles, when a man jumped out at him from inside a wooden box.

Niall was left physically shaken, and trembled as he yelled in fright. The man then ran backstage while the audience erupted with laughter. Check it out here:
