The ‘Penis Facial’ Is The New Skincare Fad Celebs Are Going Mad For

This is taking skincare to new extremes.

Here at STELLAR HQ, we’re all for trying new things. Saying that, this one seems a bit questionable..

The latest trend celebs seem to be trying to keep their skin looking youthful is the penis facial, which is professionally known as an EGF (epidermal growth factor) facial. The treatment uses stem cells from the foreskins of circumcised Korean boys. Delightful.

The facial is the speciality of skincare expert Georgia Louise – in the treatment, stem cells and peptides are penetrated deep into the skin using a special electric micro-needling wand. Ouch.

The technique is similar to another celeb-loved treatment, the vampire facial, which involves separating the protein rich plasma from your own blood and having that micro-needled back into the skin.

The latest star to undergo the treatment is Oceans 8 actress Cate Blanchett, who told Vogue Australia that she had the unusual treatment with co-star Sandra Bullock.

Speaking to Daily Mail Online, Georgia Louise said: “It’s a tremendous treatment but the “street name” for it is hilarious.”

She added: “Poor Cate, I don’t know how she’s going to cope with all the reaction. I’ve heard some people say ‘oh, she’s got c**k on her face!’ That’s obviously not the case but yes… ridiculous.”

Georgia’s website is packed full of reviews from some big celebs (with great skin, might we add) such as Emma Stone and Katy Perry.

If you’re willing to go to extremes for good skin, the EGF Facial will set you back at least $650, which is about €527. Beauty come at a price, aye?
