7 Places To Make The Most Of The Dublin Sunshine On Your Lunch Break Today
Give that sad desk lunch a miss for one day, it's SUNNY!
With the sun finally making an appearance, we insist you venture outside for your lunch today.
Here are a few of our favourite Dublin suntraps for eating outdoors… and even if you’re bringing you’re own lunch we’ve got you covered with a few top sunbathing locations.
Read on!
Fade Street Social, Fade St
Their New York-style loft garden is a total suntrap, and you can grab an epically tasty flatbread pizza while you’re there. Win.
The Woollen Mills, Liffey St
This Liffey St haunt has an upstairs terrace with a retractable roof, perfect for chilled-out chats over lunch.
JoBurger, 4/5 Castle Market
Sit outside over your lunch and watch the world go by (while spying on potential eye candy across the street in Grogan’s).
The Pav, Trinity College
Bring your lunch along and sit on the grass outside Trinity’s student bar. This place is always bustling – and there’s always the option of a cheeky lunchtime drink on the cheap.
Chez Max, Baggot St
The Baggot St branch of this French restaurant has a hidden treasure out the back in the form of a two-storey garden area. What more could you want on your lunch hour?
Iveagh Gardens
Grab a sandwich from the nearby Green Bench Café (seriously, do it) and pan out in the park for your lunch hour. Bliss.
Pygmalion, Powerscourt Townhouse
Sit outside on all variety of comfy chairs as you dine in this city centre spot. They also have a two-for-one cocktail deal from Sundays-Thursdays, but you didn’t hear that from us.
The Barge, Charlemont St
This canal bank pub is a definite after-work drinks go-to, but it also has a great bar food menu served from noon.
Stephen’s Green Park
Ditch your desk and bring your lunch to the park today – the perfect place to soak up all those positive sunny vibes.
