Kate Middleton Pays Tribute To Princess Diana And Queen Elizabeth In 40th Birthday Photographs

She looks stunning.

Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton is celebrating her 40th Birthday today.

In honour of the milestone, Kensington Palace have released new portraits of Kate which can be seen on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s Instagram.

The post is captioned, “Delighted to share a new portrait of The Duchess ahead of her 40th birthday tomorrow.

“This is one of three new portraits which will enter the permanent collection of the @nationalportraitgallery, of which The Duchess is Patron.”

In the pictures Kate is seen to honour Queen Elizabeth as well as Prince William’s late mother, Princess Diana.

Wearing Princess Diana’s pearl earrings and sapphire engagement ring the Duchess posed in a stunning white flowing gown.

In a second picture we see Kate wearing a pair of diamond earrings belonging to Queen Elizabeth paired with a gorgeous one shoulder red gown.

The mother-of-three looks stunning in the portraits taken by photographer Paolo Roversi.

The photos will be part of the National Portrait Gallery’s “Coming Home” exhibition.
