Julia Fox Shuts Down Rumours She’s Joining The Real Housewives Of New York

But she does have a connection to the show!

Julia Fox is everywhere lately, and you won’t catch anyone complaining about it. We’ve all fallen a bit in love with Julia thanks to her sense of style, trend setting makeup, and hilarious off the cuff comments.

So naturally when we heard Josh Safdie’s muse would be starring in a reality show, earning a spot on the Real Housewives Of New York following the announcement of a cast shake up, it caused a lot of excitement.

It all started when a source close to the show told Page Six, “Someone brought Julia’s name to production and said she is interested.”

“The production company is actively in New York City talking to various groups of friends, there hasn’t even been a conversation with Julia yet.” Continuing on to emphasise, “I’m sure casting will at some point follow up.”

So things weren’t set in stone but it sounded promising. Unfortunately the rumours were just that, rumours. A representative for Julia claimed this was all untrue, saying, “This is false.” While it would have been amazing to see Julia on a reality show, we’re sure she’ll still be keeping us entertained with whatever she is doing.

While Julia might not be joining the show as a regular, she does have a strong connection to the The Real Housewives of New York. As the model is actually close friends with RHONY star Leah McSweeney. Leah joined the show in season 12 back in 2020, but has known Julia much longer.

While we now know Julia isn’t joining the Real Housewives, Leah’s future there is uncertain as well. Following the announcement of the season 14 cast shake up, Leah explained to E! News that she hasn’t been asked back yet but would consider another season if offered.

Saying, “I’m in a place where if they ask me back, I’m going to go back. Were there moments where I was like, ‘I don’t really wanna go back?’ Of course. There were a few times I thought that, because last season was rough. But I’ve had so much time to process everything.”

“I’m ready. If they want me back I’m here.”
