Chrishell Stause is best known for selling houses, but it turns out, she has a pretty interesting tactic for buying them that deserves some attention as well.
The Selling Sunset star was chatting on The Kelly Clarkson Show, and mentioned what exactly she had done with her wedding ring after her and ex-Justin Hartley’s divorce. Our favourite realtor then spilt that she sold the ring and put the money towards her $3.3 million (around €3 million) home in the Hollywood Hills.
Having the best logic to explain her decision, Chrishell said, “When sometimes life gives you lemons, sometimes you’ve gotta add a little vodka, I was trying to, you know, make the best out of a situation. So yeah.”
Host Kelly absolutely loved the idea, praising the former soap star saying, “I mean, what are you supposed to do, keep wearing it? I think that’s amazing. You did something good with the money.”
Of course, that isn’t the only way Chrishell moved on after the breakup. She also revealed how Kelly’s music has helped her heal heartbreaks in the past. Telling the singer, “Your music has gotten me through many a breakup, so thank you for that. You’ve helped all of us.”

Chrishell and Justin were married in 2017, but split in 2021, with their breakup feature on season three of Selling Sunset. On the show, it was revealed that Justin had ended their marriage…in a text message.
Since then Justin has remarried Sofia Pernas, a friend of Chrishell’s from their days on American soap circuit. However, Chrishell addressed her ex-husband’s new relationship on the show, having only good things to say.
Explaining, “My ex-husband Justin is remarried to someone I know from back in the day, pretty well, and a lot of things made sense after finding that out. I wish them the best. You know, I think that actually, if anything, it felt good to know that. It felt like a little bit of closure.”
