What’s Going On With Shakira And Lewis Hamilton?

Last weekend Shakira was spotted at the F1 Spanish Grand Prix, watching and cheering for none other than Lewis Hamilton.

This, however, is not the first time the pair have been spotted spending time together. A source told People that while they’ve been seen together in public on a number of occasions they’re” keeping things fun and flirty” for the minute.

The source said: “They’re spending time together and in the ‘getting to know you’ stage.”

The dating rumours come just days after Shakira spent time with Lewis following his second place position at the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. The pair went for dinner along with a number of friends including Daniel Caesar, Fai Chadra and Mustafa, who shared a picture from the friend filled night out on his Instagram story.

In the picture, all five are sitting in a semi circle smiling for the camera. Lewis is sitting next to Shakira with his arm around her waist.

Last month the Spanish singer was spotted on a boat in Miami following the Miami Grand Prix. She appeared at the event the day following her acceptance of Billboard’s first Woman of the Year award at the inaugural Latin Women in Music gala.

During her speech she made reference to her highly publicised divorce from football player Gerard Pique.

She said: “It’s been a year where I’ve realised we women are stronger than we think, braver than we believed, more independent than we were taught to be.”

Continuing on she said: “Because what woman hasn’t at some time in her life forgotten herself because she’s seeking the attention and love of someone else? It happened to me, more than once.”
