Here’s What Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week
Here's the bits we're mad about this week!
Another week done, and this one is ending on something really exciting – the Hayu STELLAR InstaStar awards!
We’ve had a busy few days preparing for all of our gorgeous guests, who’ll be joining us tonight at the Dean Townhouse in Dublin.
Even though it’s been a whirlwind week, we’ve still made sure to stop and smell the flowers (or the Guinness chocolates – mmm).
From Disney+ quizzes to tasty Korean dip, here’s all the things we’ve been loving this week.
Jade is loving… Boozy choc
Guinness is delicious, and so is Guinness chocolate.
I’m talking boozy truffles, mini chocolate pints, and of course, the new Guinness Chocolate Rugby Ball. It’s rugby szn, after all.
Lir were kind enough to send STELLAR HQ a whole host of tasty treats this week. It’s safe to say they were demolished.
Aoife is loving…BPerfect 10 Second Tan

I’m a little bit of a fake tan addict, and BPerfect is one of my faves. It has a guide colour that comes up instantly which makes it easier to apply, it’s really moisturising on the skin, and as an added bonus it doesn’t have that awful fake tan smell (the people around me can be thankful for that also).
Now the Irish brand have come up with an eco friendly way to get more use out of your bottle – refillable pouches! I actually can’t believe I’ve never seen this done before, it’s such a brilliant idea. Instead of having three 3/4 way empty bottles cluttering up your room (and adding to the plastic waste on this earth), you just need the one. I feel like a sustainable – and bronzed – queen!
Lorna is loving… Disney+
When we say everyone here at Team STELLAR are massive Disney fans we mean MASSIVE. Whether it’s your classic animations, brand new shows or your favourite rewatches we love them all and like anything we all have our strengths. Ask me about the Mandalorian and I wouldn’t have a breeze but I can tell you how many episodes of Criminal Minds there are on Disney+ (it’s 334 in case you were wondering!)
So when Team STELLAR were invited to take part in a Disney+ quiz you can imagine the excitement in the office. We took a team of 5 of us (Jade Hayden created a rather incredible team name for us, ‘The Walt Quizneys’) off down to The Sugar Club in Leeson Street to enjoy pizza, drinks and a whopping 70 questions all about Disney+ and its shows.
If you’ve not tried out Disney+ yet, This month is the month to do it! If you sign up for the streaming platform before September 15th you will receive a three month membership for €1.99. From someone who watches Disney+ religiously it is 100% worth it. You’ll love it so much you’ll end up paying the full price, I can tell you that from personal experience.
Jade is loving… Dip

Korean corn dip, to be exact. This week has been inordinately hot, and so to combat the intense heat I’ve decided to eat exclusively dips for all of my main meals.
Well, not all of them. But at least some. This week, I whipped up a delicious Korean corn dip for my lunch and it was so good.
Ready in literally 15 minutes and comprised of only a few ingredients (sweet corn, cream cheese, mayo, jalanenos, and onion), it was ideal. Would recommend.
Aoife is loving…Declaré Enzyme Peel

My skin can be sensitive, so I’m traumatised by the likes of a certain nefarious apricot scrub that destroyed my skin barrier back in secondary school (despite that delicious smell!).
Now I like to opt for exfoliators that don’t have any of those little beads or bits that cause micro tears, and the Enzyme Peel from Declaré is perfect! It’s super gentle on your skin, using an enzymatic reaction to peel off dead cells and leave your face feeling baby soft. I love the consistency, too – it’s a powder that lathers into a soft foam. Mmmm.
Lorna is loving… coloured eyeliner

As a teenager I was an absolute fiend for coloured eyeliner. Whether it was gel, liquid or pencil it didn’t matter I used it, and I was known to do some pretty out there looks. As I go older I just stuck to my black wing or a brown gel in my tightline.
Recently I bought a lilac liquid eyeliner and I can’t stop wearing it. It is absolutely fabulous on, so much so that I went back to Boots and bought four more colours pink, blue, green and yellow. Catch me with some neon fun looks in the next couple of weeks!
