Here’s Our Fave Threads Moments, As The App Lands In Ireland
It's time to get...threading?
Instagram’s Threads is finally landing in Ireland!
For those of you who aren’t familiar with it, Threads is an app built by the Instagram team, for sharing text updates and joining public conversations.
Before now it wasn’t available in Europe, so we had to watch jealously as our American pals got to test out the new social media.
The vibe it’s giving us is kind of like a Tumblr and Twitter crossover, with a more wholesome and positive vibe.
You can can choose to create a Threads profile that’s connected to your Instagram account – which means you get the same experience as everyone else around the world – or if you’re not too keen just yet on signing up to something else, you can use Threads without a profile.
People who use Threads without a profile can browse content on Threads, search for accounts, share content via link copying or platform sharing, and report Threads content, but can’t interact with content.
Those who are chronically online (cough cough, us!) will quickly have this added into their socials routine – trust us.
It’s just as addictive as Instagram, and since most celebs have already had access to it, there’s plenty of content we’ve got to go back and creep on.
Here’s just a few of our fave Threads moments so far.
Happy threading! (Or whatever the slang we’re using is…we’ll figure it out!)
