Here’s What Team STELLAR Is Into This Week

We’re officially well into December, and the weather has been sufficiently crap.

It’s been rainy, it’s been windy, and leaving the house has not been all that appetising.

That doesn’t mean that we haven’t been enjoying some things from the comfort of our homes though.

Music festivals are something usually reserved for the summer, but Dingle’s Other Voices, now in its 23rd year more than proves that there’s a case for winter festivals too! Alongside the usual stunning and intimate performances in St. James’s Church (you could hear a pin drop during Laura Marling’s incredible set), the town of Dingle is taken over with gigs and interesting talks happening in every corner.

This year Jameson sponsored the Music Trail, including a lineup on their own Jameson Connects stage based at the newly opened Bridge House venue. With a lineup including Maverick Sabre, HousePlants and Aoife Nessa Frances it was one of our favourite spots for the weekend. Roll on 2025!

… A solid whiskey

Name a better drink for drinking during the festive season than whiskey. Chances are you can’t.

Hennessy recently launched their special edition Founders’ Bottle, created by Maser and Conor Harrington, and it’s just gorgeous.

The design is an homage to their fellow Irishman and bridges the heritage of the Hennessy Maison with street culture.

A symbol of Irish pride and achievement, the original artwork will hold pride of place upon the walls of Killavullen, the Cork home of Richard Hennessy.

In other festival news, Budapest-based festival Sziget announced their first wave of acts this week including some serious heavy hitters.

Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, KNEECAP, Brutalismus 3000, Papa Roach, Nelly Furtado, Young Marco and more will take to the stage next year. The festival runs from 6th to 11th August 2025 and we have a feeling tickets will be like gold dust!
