Everything Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week
Few bits there
It’s almost the weekend – and more importantly, it’s almost the Paddy’s Day bank holiday weekend.
Whether you’ve got plans to celebrate in style, or lay low at home, you need to have a read of what we’ve been loving this week regardless.
There’s plenty.
… A good clean
I am far from a clean freak, but I do like my space to be free from clutter, dust, and little bits.
It’s those bits that keep me up at night. The ones you can see when the light shines in the window suddenly, little pieces of fluff and dirt that were missed during The Big Clean, set to frustrate me evermore.
However, I’ve recently been using the Dyson PencilVac Fluffycones for my frequent vacuuming, and it’s been glorious.
The world’s fastest Hyperdymium vacuum motor glides around my apartment with such ease, cleaning from all directions, and compressing dirt into its compact little tube.
The PencilVac has three suction settings, so you can choose between Eco, Mid, and High – and honestly, I’ve been using Eco all this month and it’s been perfect.
The battery lasts long enough for me to hoover my entire apartment, and the magnetic charging dock makes it super easy to pop the Vac back in and recharge for when needed.
LED illumination also lets me see those pesky little bits I would have otherwise missed with my standard vacuum, while its flexibility and slimness lets me get under the couch and behind cupboards with ease. Lowkey obsessed.

… Spring style

This week, Arnott’s treated us fashion lovers to a showcase of their new in spring/summer collection launching in store soon. Writer Sarah Macken held a discussion with Head of Fashion Buying Tracey Despard as she talked us through the emerging trends for this season.
Primary bright colours are a huge trend for this season, with Essentiel Antwerp embracing these colours in their summer jackets and knit wear. Tracey discussed “new prep”, a modern take on the preppy looks from the past, with Polo Ralph Lauren and Gant leaning into these styles.
For accessories, we can see a return of Coach this season, with the launch of their New York tote as a simple shoulder bag that brings together your look. Anxious Preoccupied is still leading the way in accessories, as the sought after bold metallic XL carry all are back for Spring.
Staple brands such as Ganni, Damson Madder and Boss are also making their return to the shop floor this season, while new brands such as Vivere will make their debut, showing easy summer dressing with soft palette colours.
… SPF szn
It might still be chilly enough, but guys, the sun is out – and you know what that means. It’s SPF szn.
Well, technically every season is SPF season, but if you’re anything like me and barely left the house all winter, spring is the perfect time to ensure you’re protecting your face from those pesky UVA and UVB, if you haven’t been already.
CeraVe have just launched their new SPF collection, and it’s got a product for every skin type, and every vibe.
Their Invisible Hydrating Sunscreen SPF 50 is perfect for face and body, and contains three ceramides to protect the skin, while hydrating too.
This SPF also comes in a handy on-to-go bottle, so you can pop it in your purse or tote bag while on the go.
For the dry faced among us, CeraVe also have an SPF especially for that. And if you’re more oily, the brand have got a specific formula for that too.
They really have thought of everything.
… Scents with a story

You can have a scent… and then you can have a scent with a story.
That’s what PHLUR is all about – it’s a modern fine fragrance brand that creates scents inspired by memories and feelings, ones that are universal to everyone, while also being incredibly personal.
Team STELLAR was lucky enough to meet with PHLUR Creative Director Chriselle Lim this week, to hear all about her beautiful brand, and her inspiration for each scent.
They’re about to launch their newest fragrance, Honeymoon, a summery scent that evokes the sweetness of honey and the strength of the moon.
Personal favs are the iconic Missing Person, Father Figure, and the gorgeous Vanilla Skin. Just divine.
You can find PHLUR’s range in Brown Thomas.
… Açai, açai, and more açai
Anyone who knows me, knows that I adore an açai bowl.
They’ve been my go-to for a cool and healthy treat this past year, and since Oakberry continue to expand across Ireland, there’s even more spots for me to get my Brazilian berry fix.
Oakberry just opened their latest store in Swords Pavillions Shopping Centre, their 11th store opening in just over two years since the brand first launched in Dublin.
If you’re (somehow) unfamiliar with açai, it’s a super berry that’s rich in antioxidants, healthy fats and fibre.
Oakberry is the only açaí brand in the world that manages every step from berry to bowl, organically harvesting its berries by riverside communities in Pará, Brazil, helping protect biodiversity and support local economies.
Organic, and super delicious.
