Bestselling romance writer Emily Henry will return in 2025 with her latest novel, Great Big Beautiful Life, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Here’s everything we know about the upcoming release.

Typical of Henry’s usual style, this book is a romance novel. It follows main characters, Alice Scott and Hayden Anderson, two authors competing to be picked to write the autobiography of Margaret Ives – a former tabloid princess who hasn’t been heard from in years.

While living on a small paradise-like island the pair must try to impress Margaret on their one-month trial period and the tension between the pair doesn’t stop at the rivalry of the competition.

Similar to Henry’s other books, Great Big Beautiful Life is character driven. Alice is a super friendly, outgoing person. On the other hand, we have Hayden who is competitive, highly strung and who is determined to win Ives over.

The good thing for us is that opposites attract, right?

The book has already gotten excellent reviews from the likes of author Taylor Jenkins Reid, who wrote The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. She stated that “Emily knows how to craft a love story like the all-time greats”.

Emily announced the title of her newest novel in an Instagram post back in September of last year. Therefore fans have had a lot of time to get excited for the upcoming book.
