Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams are finally red carpet official – and honestly, good for them.

The pair attended the BAFTA Awards on Sunday night, posing together ahead of the ceremony in London.

This is one of the first times the pair have posed together in public, but it isn’t the first time they’ve been spotted… or declared their love for one another.

Here’s a full relationship timeline for Paul and Gracie – our new favourite IT couple.

June 2024 – The first date

Paul and Gracie were first spotted together in London, as they shared a meal at BRAT restaurant.

They were seen in London a few times over this summer, as US singer Gracie was reported to be spending a lot more time in the city.

August 2024 – The Mitski gig

Towards the end of that summer, Paul and Gracie were seen together at a Mitski gig at All Points East music festival in Victoria Park.

They had also been spotted kissing in Mayfair that month, and putting on some serious PDA in the streets.

A source told People Magazine that the pair were dating: “They’ve been hooking up, and it’s still early stages.”

October 2024 – Paul supports Gracie

In October, Paul travelled to New York to attend Gracie’s Radio City Music Hall gig.

The couple were seen holding hands and kissing around the city, while Paul was also pictured at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour when Gracie supported.

Gracie also attended Paul’s Gladiator 2 premiere the following month, though she was not pictured on the red carpet.

February 2025 – Gracie reveals all… kinda

In February 2025, Gracie graced the cover of Cosmo. In her cover story she chatted all about her love life, and even though she didn’t mention Paul by name, it was fairly obvious who she was talking about.

“If you’ve ever felt unsafe in a relationship, it’s really evident when you do feel safe in one. Women are fed so many voices when it comes to what love should be or feel like,” she said.

“But in my experience, love feels best when you’re asking yourself: What do you want? What is hot for you? What is sexy to you? Where do you feel safest? There’s literally nothing better than being with somebody where you’re not putting on a performance.”

Gracie also spent some time in London during Paul’s run of A Streetcar Named Desire.

May 2025 – P & G go to Cannes

Paul and Gracie both attended Cannes Film Festival last spring – though they didn’t pose together on the red carpet.

Later that month, rumours began to circulate that the pair had gotten engaged as Gracie was seen wearing some sparkle on her left ring finger.

The rumours never amounted to anything, and fans were quick to point out that the singer always wore similar jewellery.

June 2025 – Glasto

The pair made it Insta official back in June when they attended Olivia Rodrigo’s set at Glastonbury.

Gracie shared a video of herself atop Paul’s shoulders singing along to The Cure’s ‘Friday I’m In Love’. The couple attended the festival along with Paul’s friend and Normal People co-star Daisy Edgar Jones.

Gracie later shared a photo dump of the festival, featuring a selfie of herself and Paul. Cute.

September 2025 – Paul chats romance

Paul was interviewed by Rolling Stone in September ahead of the release of his film, A History of Sound.

When asked about his relationship to Gracie he stumbled over the question and said: “I don’t know how to answer that…I actually do have an answer, but everything to do with that is deeply precious to me.

“I don’t want to.…This isn’t …I don’t really…umm…I want to protect those things fundamentally.”

January 2026 – “I love him surprise”

Gracie shared her love for Paul at the start of this year following the release of his latest film, Hamnet. She posted a photo of Paul and co-star Jessie Buckley and said:

“I’ve found it nearly impossible to find the words to describe the weight of this film and the way it has remained in my bones since I saw it for the first time.

“But we are sat in the kitchen right now and I am looking back on these pictures and got immediately teary.”

She then shared a photo of Paul smoking a cigarette and said: “I love him surprise.”

February 2026 – The birthday post

To mark Paul’s 30th birthday, Gracie shared a post on Instagram saying: “My whole heart!!!!!!!!! I love February 2… Happy birthday. I love you both more than words could ever describe.

“Thank you for making everything better.”

It was also Gracie’s friend’s birthday on this day.

February 2026 – The pair make their red carpet debut… with Paul McCartney

Paul and Gracie finally walked their first red carpet together in February… with a former Beatle.

The pair attended the London premiere of Man on the Run, and they even posed for a pic with Paul McCartney. Yes, really.

They also stepped out at the BAFTAs on February 22 for their first official red carpet together, as Gracie supported Paul who was nominated for Best Actor for his role in Hamnet.

Gracie kissed Paul on the cheek as they posed together on the carpet. Obsessed, truly.
