We'll be flying without wings...

This is not a drill, folks… Westlife have announced a string of Irish concert dates as part of their 25th anniversary celebrations, including five nights in Dublin and three in Belfast.

They will then play Belfast’s SSE Arena on 27, 28 and 29 October.

“Dublin and Belfast, you’re up first,” the band wrote alongside an Instagram post.

“We can’t tell you how excited we are to begin these celebrations. This tour is a thank you to our fans who have shared the last 25 years with us.

“We can’t wait to perform our biggest ever songs and to make this celebration an unforgettable night for all of you.”

The beloved Irish band, made up of Nicky Byrne, Shane Filan, Kian Egan and Mark Feehily, have been marking their incredible 25th anniversary in style.

Back in June, the Flying Without Wings hitmakers announced plans for a series of special celebrations to honour their milestone year, more than two decades after their very first world tour in 2001.

It’s also been confirmed that Mark will sadly not be joining his fellow bandmates for the upcoming shows, as he continues to focus on his health following a series of complications.

However, those eager to celebrate with the remaining trio can grab their tickets for Westlife’s Dublin and Belfast gigs when they go on sale on Thursday, 23 October at 9am via Ticketmaster.
