Here’s What Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

Goodbye autumn, hello winter – we’re so excited to have you here.

It may be cold, the weather might be crap, but the festive season is right around the corner, so at least that’s something to look forward to.

Here’s everything we’ve been into this week.

… A Christmas dinner

We know, we know. October is barely cold in its grave and we’ve already swiftly moved onto Christmas. But listen, there’s a good reason for it.

This week Team STELLAR spent an evening in the gorgeous Anantara The Marker hotel for an early Christmas dinner like no other, courtesy of SuperValu.

Curated by head chef Gareth Mullins, the menu was chock full of festive favourites like delicious seafood, Christmas pudding, turkey and ham, and of course, a next level cheeseboard.

It wouldn’t be Christmas without one!

… Tasty bacterial cultures

Yoghurts are great. They’re tasty, they’re smooth, they’re the ideal quick breakfast option when you’re legging it out the door.

They’re also full of protein. Well, Glenisk’s new range are anyway.

The brand recently launched their new High Protein Lactose Free Yogurt that’s kinder to sensitive guts and easier to digest, while still full of the natural goodness and creamy texture.

Whether you’re a natural girl, a bit fruity, or into something a bit more vanilla, there’s a flavour for everyone. Divine.

Old Fashioned Sam’s on Montague Street is proving itself as one of Dublin’s most versatile spots for everything from brunch to birthday cheers – and our recent STELLAR mini baby shower in their heated courtyard was a brilliant showcase of what the place does best. With its retractable roof and lively atmosphere, it’s an ideal setting for celebrations that feel fun but still relaxed.

We tucked into an array of dishes from the courtyard menu that were perfect for sharing. Highlights included the beef croquettes and crab tostada to start, and for bigger bites we loved the brisket beef burger and panko cod & chips, each rich with flavour and paired beautifully with Sam’s creative cocktail list. Alongside great food, the drinks really elevated the occasion – from refreshing classics to new twists. We loved the spicy margs!

What makes Sam’s feel so special is the variety of spaces under one roof – the courtyard, rooftop terrace, and upstairs dining area all offer their own vibe. But for a relaxed celebration like ours, the courtyard with heaters and cocktails flowing was the perfect spot. 

Whether it’s a birthday, a casual catch-up or anything in between, Old Fashioned Sam’s nails the mix of great food, drinks and celebration energy. Definitely one to book ahead.

… A glowing (red) face
