Everything Going On With The Beckham Family Fall Out

The Beckham family feud could quite possibly be the most talked about celeb family fall out of this century.

While they might seem like a picture-perfect family in every sense of the word, this couldn’t be further than the truth, especially after recent news broke out that Brooklyn Beckham, Victoria and David’s oldest son, served them a legal letter.

Rumours have floated around about Brooklyn’s broken relationship with his parents for a while, but what has really been going on between the family and Brookyln’s wife Nicola Peltz?

Well, we have the full breakdown of the rifts that ultimately led to this cease and desist.

The wedding dress fiasco

The rumours of the family fall out began in 2022, after Brooklyn married American actress and billionaire heiress, Nicola Peltz.

Victoria Beckham, a very excited mother of the groom and owner of Victoria Beckham Design, reportedly wanted to be a part of her son and daughter in law’s special day and asked Nicola if they could work together to create her wedding gown.

This wedding gown would be an original couture made from her brand, and it seemed that Peltz was just as excited to work alongside her mother-in-law to create something special for her big day.

However, Nicola walked graciously down the aisle in a costume Valentino couture gown instead.

Peltz looked incredible on her wedding day, with followers agreeing too, but they couldn’t help but wonder, why the sudden change in designers, especially when it’s your mother-in-law helping to design the dress?

Many saw this as an obvious fall out between Victoria and Nicola, and when asked why she changed to Valentino, Peltz commented that it just didn’t work out with Victoria’s brand.

Sources close to Peltz said that there were issues with alterations and executing the vision that Peltz wanted, while sources close to Victoria said that she was completely blindsided in the decision. This led to many wondering if there were more issues with the pair that meets the eye.

However, the two seemed to be okay with each other after this. Victoria took to Instagram to wish her daughter-in-law a happy birthday in 2024, and even supported Peltz at her movie premiere of Lola.

So how did this relationship turn completely on its head?

David’s 50^th birthday bash

While the tensions seemed to be squashed and the rumours were beginning to die down, it wasn’t long before they were back, with even more compelling evidence that there definitely was a rift between Brooklyn and his family.

This came after photos of Davids 50^th birthday party in May 2025 were released, and noticeably, Brooklyn or Nicola weren’t featured in any.

However, apparently the issue wasn’t just with Brookyln’s parents but with his younger brother Romeo too…

Fans of the Beckhams spotted Romeo’s new girlfriend, Kim Turnball, in family photos from the party and started to piece together the potential reason why Brooklyn opted to not attended his father’s bash.

Thurnball had been linked to Brooklyn years ago, with people speculating that the pair dated, although this was denied by Turnball herself.

Others wondered if something had happened with the two after sources close to Brooklyn said that he felt uncomfortable going to the party if Thurnball was in attendance.

The legal letter

The most recent developments came in December just gone after Cruz Beckham, the youngest Beckham son, took to Instagram to share that he, his other siblings and their parents have been blocked by Brooklyn and Nicola.

His Instagram Story included a sensational headline from the Daily Mail with the caption: “Not True. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.”

Now in more recent and drastic developments, it has come to light that Brooklyn has served his family a legal letter of a cease-and-desist order… which might be the reason behind why the family got blocked.

This letter means that his parents can only contact him via his lawyers and they will not be allowed to contact him via social media, whether that be engaging in his content, tagging him in pictures or even posting throwback pictures of him.

A source close to Brooklyn said that he has taken these measures in an attempt to reconcile their issues in private without the public or social media watching. It was also said he did this in order to protect his own mental health.

Peltz too has blocked the members of the Beckham family on Instagram and has removed any evidence of them from her social media.

Whatever’s really going on here, it’s safe to say there’s plenty we don’t know.
