Here’s What Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

January is almost coming to an end – have you been busy?

We’ve been doing a lot of things including drinking matcha, using hair masks, and getting a gorge, January glow.

Staying on top of your skin health during January can be tough.

It’s cold, it’s grey, and the last thing you want to be doing is indulging in a 10-step routine when all you want to do is fall into bed and sleep the day away.

But January is also the best time to treat yourself to a skin treatment – where you can lie back, relax, and let somebody else do all of the hard work.

The Kelly Clinic recently opened their new Dublin location, and Team STELLAR went along to an exclusive event this month to learn all about their gorgeous skin and aesthetics offerings.

We even got to see a demo of their CUTERA Laser Genesis, a non-invasive treatment used to target fine lines, acne scars, rosacea, large pores, and uneven skin tone.

… Ready to drink matcha

I’m a big matcha girlie.

I love the taste, I love the look, I love the little kick it gives me in the morning.

I also love when my matcha is ready to drink and I don’t have to be tinkering around with whisks and bits.

Oatly have just introduced the latest offering to their oat drink range, and it’s a serious contender for best liquid in my fridge at the moment.

Pour it over some ice or have it hot for a tasty New Year treat. Divine.

… Gorgeous hair

It’s rare that I wash my hair and brush it and the brush goes through easily. I’m a tangly girl, and that’s okay.

This week though, I used Olaplex’s Weightless Nourishing Mask for the first time and my hair was genuinely maybe the softest and not-knotty it has ever been.

The mask uses Biomimetic Cuticle Technology with shea butter, panthenol, and hydrogenated castor oil copolymer to moisturise and smooth the cuticle surface and support the hair’s body and lift without heaviness.

I left the mask in for about five minutes in the shower, and when I ran a brush through it later it was so, so smooth – it also had a great lift to it with no styling. Win win.

Doing Dry January this month? Good for you. But more importantly, are you doing Pie January?

Dublin 8’s Tenters at Aloft have this month launched a new range of tasty pies, perfect for munching the cold New Year nights away.

The pies come with a choice of side salad or hand-cut fries, with the menu rotating throughout the month.

The menu includes slow-braised beef and vegetable, heart-warming chicken and mild curry and moreish chicken, mushroom and leek, all with a golden, buttery pastry.
