Charleen Murphy Chats ‘Frosty’ Time On Love Island
"When you’re living it, it’s hard"
Charleen Murphy has finally discussed her experience on Love Island after being dumped from the villa last week.
She appeared on Aftersun on Sunday night where she discussed her “bittersweet” experience on the show.
She was joined by her fellow Casa Amor bombshell, Mara as they chatted to host, Maya Jama.
Charleen had been in a couple with Kavan, who immediately rekindled his relationship with Jasmine after returning to the main villa.

“I think I ended on quite a bad note, so I think I would probably change that, but it was such a cool experience,” Charleen shared.
“I think going from being really happy in Casa to really sad in the main villa, it felt like my time to go. That was my cue to leave.”
She admitted that she is aware that she spent a lot of her time on the show in tears. However, she explained she had a tough time after joining the main villa.
“In Casa, we came in all together and it was such a good time. You come into the main villa, which is so big, to a group of people who don’t really want you there, it’s going to be frosty.

“We knew that going into Casa that that could happen, but I think when you’re living it, it’s hard.”
She also explained that there was an “instant energy shift” after she joined the main villa.
“The second we walked back from Casa, he dropped my hand at the recouping and I just knew. I think that’s what led to me being a bit upset afterwards, it was just the instant energy shift,” she explained.
“I take people for what they say and their word, I believe that because that’s how I am, so when he just switched like that, I felt stupid. I felt embarrassed, upset, so many emotions. That’s why I cried afterwards, the overwhelm of coming into a place where people don’t want you there.”
She jokingly added: “I think I picked the wrong brother!”
Ah, Charleen, you did yourself proud!
