What’s Going On Between Namibia & Tommy?
They beefin'
Love Island’s Namibia and Tommy Murphy came face-to-face on Love Island: Aftersun on Sunday night, with the pair clashing live on air after Tommy shared a recording of a private conversation between Namibia and fellow Islander Tina Rad.
During the final episode of Aftersun host Maya Jama brought up the drama surrounding the leaked voice notes, prompting Namibia to call Tommy out for getting involved in a situation she felt had already been resolved.
Branding him a “clout chaser”, she said: “This little pot stirrer. You’re not production, you don’t need to record that. We’ve squashed it.”
Namibia explained that she and Tina had since met in person and spoken through their differences earlier in the week, insisting the situation had been put behind them before Tommy shared the recording online.

“We went to an event, and we spoke the other day. I explained my side, she explained her side,” she said, before adding that Tommy had only made the situation “messy”.
Tommy defended himself, joking that he had simply been “in a taxi minding my own boots”, but Namibia quickly interrupted, telling him: “Mind your business. You weren’t minding your own because you recorded it.”
Maya was also quick to point out that Tina and Namibia had been trying to resolve their issues privately before Tommy recorded and shared the conversation online.
The awkward exchange marked the latest chapter in a feud that has been unfolding ever since the Islanders left the villa.

It all began when Namibia appeared on former Love Island finalist Tyrique Hyde’s livestream, where she was asked what Tina was like during their time in the villa. Namibia claimed Tina had been “unwelcoming” towards her following the love triangle involving Aidan and alleged she had been repeatedly staring at her after returning from the Hideaway.
She also took offence to Tina referring to her as “thingy” instead of using her name, saying: “The f***ing cheek. Do you know how rude that is?”
Tina later addressed the comments during an appearance on Love Island: Aftersun on June 28, revealing she had messaged Namibia after hearing what had been said.
She admitted she had accidentally called Namibia “thingy”, but insisted it wasn’t intended as an insult and blamed her notoriously poor memory for forgetting names.
“I called Yas Ellie like twice,” Tina explained, adding that the Islanders had often joked about her struggling to remember people’s names.
She also claimed the pair had got along well inside the villa and said she was confused by Namibia’s version of events.

“As soon as she came out it was all lies,” Tina said, revealing she had messaged Namibia asking why she had spoken negatively about her online.
At the time, Tina admitted she was still waiting for a reply.
The drama escalated again when Tommy shared a TikTok featuring audio from what appeared to be a private conversation between Tina and Namibia as they attempted to clear the air.
In the recording, Tina denied staring at Namibia inside the villa and insisted she had apologised multiple times.
“From the bottom of my heart, I do feel like you just went on there and talked absolute s**t just to stir things up,” Tina said, before adding that she didn’t believe there was any lasting bad blood between them.

Tommy captioned the video: “Heating up.”
Although Tina and Namibia appear to have now settled their differences, Sunday’s explosive Aftersun reunion suggests Namibia’s issues with Tommy are only just beginning.
