5 Deadly Spots To Grab A Healthy Brunch In Dublin This Weekend
Er, who says the weekend spells disaster for your diet? These five delicious and healthy eateries will keep you right on track.
Grassroots, Howth
Nestled away on Harbour Road in Howth, this little gem is a serious treat. The tiny interior is lovely, quaint and cosy and the falafel wrap is delicious. Head out and walk Howth cliff and head there afterwards for a vanilla chai latte or a green juice.
The Hopsack, Rathmines
This place has been around for years and although it’s more of a healthy supermarket, they have a delicious salad bar with some gorgeous and fresh things to choose from. It’s tucked away in The Swan Centre in Rathmines but well worth a visit if you’re in the area.
Select Stores, Dalkey
This family-run spot in Dalkey has soared in popularity recently and it’s not hard to see why. The food is amazing and it’s a lovely spot to hang out too. Check out owner Oliver McCabe’s new book The Fuel Food to pick up some tips and recipe ideas.
The Organic Supermarket, Rathgar
The Organic Supermarket is super well-known in Blackrock and Malahide but they’ve just opened another branch in Rathgar. If you feel like having something to warm you up, they have a scrumptious array of healthy hot pies, pastries and stews that will do just that.
The Lo-Cal Kitchen, Castleknock
What’s great about The Lo-Cal Kitchen is that you can see exactly how many calories are in each item on the menu. They also have a seriously tasty selection of things so you really won’t feel like you’re limiting yourself.
