The 5 Hot Tips That Helped Khloe Kardashian Lose 40lbs
No deprivation or punishing exercise routines? We are so on board!
We’ve got to hand it to Khloe Kardashian; since her amazing strong-body transformation she’s looking more fit, toned and healthy than ever before.
But just how did she do it? Well, there have been no quick fixes for Khloe. In fact, she’s commited to living a healthier lifestyle and staying toned and on track for the long haul.
These are the five tips she says have helped her do just that.
1. Be prepared
Not just a scout’s motto, Khloe also lives by this rule when it comes to her diet, revealing to People.com that she always has healthy snacks prepped and ready to go. “I always have healthy items available to me when I’m hungry, so it’s available quickly,” she says. “I’d rather eat a cookie than cut up vegetables, but now I don’t have an excuse.”
2. Get your hit of H2O
Yep, we’ve heard this crucial piece of health advice before, and Khloe is a major advocate for it too “Water flushes you out and makes you feel better,” she explains. “In hospital, all I drank was water. I was like a fish!”
3. Cheat… occasionally
We reckon you’re setting yourself up for failure if you cut out all your foodie faves completely, and Khloe agrees. “I don’t derpive myself. I am still the person who is going to have a piece of cake, I just won’t have two of them!” she reveals. So it’s moderation for the win.
4. Always eat post-workout
Feeling shitty cos you skipped food after a major sweat sesh? You’re not the only one. Khloe says “I always have fruit around. And I have a protein shake on the car ride home from the gym. Otherwise I get cranky!” We hear ya, girl.
5. Focus on the positives
It’s Khloe’s final piece of health advice that we can really get on board with. Feeling bad cos your muscle mass is low or your BMI isn’t what it should be? Focus on the positives instead, and remember if you keep at it you’re going to feel better and better. “I started having long-term feel-good moments from the gym,” says Khloe. “You don’t have long-term feel-good moments from pizza.”
