Found! The €59 Product Alessandra Ambrosio Uses To Contour For The Red Carpet

There’s no denying that Alessandra Ambrosio looked totally stunzo on the Met Gala red carpet at the beginning of the month, strutting the red carpet in a waist-cinched Balmain dress.

But it was her make-up we were really interested in.

The MUA responsible for her look, both on the night and for a whole host of other A-list events, is Carolina Gonzalez who counts Stella Maxwell and Candice Swanepoel as clients.

Speaking of how she achieves Alessandra’s enviable glow for red carpet appearances, Carolina tells Vogue that she has a wonder product up her sleeve: it’s Charlotte Tilbury’s Supermodel Body Lotion, €59, which she applies across Alessandra’s limbs, décolleté and cheekbones.

“It’s a quick way to contour without using bronzer, because it reflects light and works in a similar way,” she explains. “I use it on all my red-carpet moments, lingerie shoots and special events.”

Why’s it Carolina’s go-to product? It gives an “enviable glimmer and elongates and contours,” she shares.

For application Carolina offers this advice: “Start by applying on the sides of the legs, then inner thighs. This creates the illusion of thinner legs. Follow by applying on the sides of your waist, creating a smaller waistline. Then apply on collar bone and chest to create a more chiseled look.”
