Crushed! Here’s The Super Modest Reason Adele Just Turned Down Performing At The Super Bowl

When we first heard rumours that Adele might be performing at the Super Bowl halftime show next year, we were delira. After all, it’s a stage that’s only reserved for the most talented of performers, a’la Beyonce, Madonna and co.

But sadly, Adele has dashed any hopes that she’d be appearing at the Super Bowl in 2017 and crushed all our dreams in the process.

Naturally though, Adele being Adele, she did have some pretty well grounded – and super modest – reasons for opting out of the performance.

Chief among those? Her two left feet.

“First of all, I’m not doing the Super Bowl,” she confirmed at a gig on Saturday.

“I mean, come on, that show is not about music. And I don’t really…I can’t dance or anything like that. They were very kind, they did ask me, but I said no.”

SOB. We guess it’s just all about the music. Still, we’re totally gutted she won’t be putting in a Super Bowl performance.

The only question that remains is, who will?
