So THIS Is What Harry Styles Does Before A First Date And Let’s Be Honest, We’re All Guilty Of It

If you’ve been taking a break from the world of dating and been feeling a bit shit about it, don’t, because, international star and all-round ride Harry Styles is in the same boat right now.

Chatting to Radio One’s Nick Grimshaw the singer revealed that he hasn’t been on a date in ages.

“I haven’t dated in a long time really because I went away to do the [Dunkirk] movie then did the album so I haven’t in a while,” Harry explained. “I have a couple of candles left still though.”

Holding a flame for his exes aside, Harry also revealed his typical first date tactics, and it’s so refreshingly normal. Apparently, just like the rest of us, Harry does a little Facebook stalking to suss out his date before he meets them.

“I feel like with all of the stuff, how people date now, with all online stuff I feel like you can do that [Google] with anyone really if you’re looking at someone’s profile before seeing them, it’s kinda the same,” he revealed.

However, Harry added that he’s since kicked that first date ritual to the curb.

“No, I used to [research dates], then I said I’m not going to do that anymore, it’s impossible to go in without a perception of someone and you’ve never met them and I started feeling like that was wrong and weird.”

Fair enough, but it’ll take more than a bit of wise counsel from Harry to make us ditch our pre-date research habits.
