Prince Harry has pulled out all the stops for his girlfriend’s upcoming birthday, with reports of him spending thousands of pounds on a flashy ‘movie-inspired’ gift for her.

He and Meghan Markle have only been dating since November, but according to the Daily Star, the 32-year-old has splashed out a whopping £31,000 on a car (yes, a car) inspired by his favourite film The Italian Job. So thanks to her doting boyfriend, Meghan will soon be the proud owner of a Mini Cooper.

A source told the publication, “Harry is convinced this is a great gift for Meg. She’ll be able to nip around London yet stay fairly anonymous.” However, the Suits actress is used to driving automatic cars, so “Harry says he will have to teach her how to use a gearstick,” the source added.
