Beyonce’s Dad Confirmed The Birth Of Her Twins And The BeyHive Are FUMING
He made the announcement on Twitter.
In case you missed the exciting news, Beyonce and Jay Z have officially welcomed their twins into the world, making their first daughter, Blue Ivy, a big sister to two tiny tots.
But the BeyHive, AKA the Formation singer’s number one fans, aren’t happy about how the news was revealed. They had expected an iconic, heartfelt message from Queen B herself, but instead, the births were confirmed by a tweet from her dad, Mathew Knowles.
Taking to Twitter with a photo of balloons, the 65-year-old said, “They’re here! #beyonce #twins #jayz #happybirthday” and “Happy birthday to the twins, Love, Grandad”.
He also included a link to his personal Instagram account.

Fans are annoyed because it wasn’t his news to share, and they’re slamming him on Twitter for not letting his daughter announce the news to her fans first. Others are peeved that he used so many hashtags, because it takes away from the personal message he’s trying to share.
Beyoncé: Dad don't tell anyone until we're ready.
Beyoncé Dad: I'm going viral for this tweet…hashtag, hashtag…

Do you think Mathew should have stayed quiet until Beyonce announced the news herself?
