Oh No! Brooklyn Beckham Has Just Been Friend-Zoned And We’re Not Crying, You Are!

"He’s a cutie, literally one of my best friends."

Fans were so excited when they found out Brooklyn Beckham was dating singer, Madison Beer, but sadly it wasn’t to be.

The two 18-year-olds had been spotted getting cozy since July, and weren’t shy about kissing or holding hands in public.

However, Madison has done an interview confirming that they’re just friends, insisting that she’s 100 per cent single.

Speaking to AOL Build, she said, “I’m very much single and not ready to mingle. I’m focused on my career. I’m just 18 – just trying to navigate my life. And I’m having fun. There are obviously boys that I can crush on and stuff. But I’m very much single.”

“I’ve known Brooklyn for years”, she continued, “We’ve been really close and as we’ve gotten older – and I’m newly out of a relationship. We’re definitely, like, crushing on each other, but we’re both very busy. He’s great, though. He’s a cutie, literally one of my best friends.”

Madison added that Brooklyn is moving to New York soon, so it wouldn’t make sense for them to be in a relationship.

“We hang out every day with our whole group of friends in L.A. together. People are like, ‘Oh no, you guys are definitely dating.’ But he’s moving to New York in two weeks – it’s not really realistic.”
