Behind The Peter Mark VIP Style Awards Look: Lauren Arthurs

Dying to see all the style from the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards? Team STELLAR was camped out in the Beauty Room backstage AND on the red carpet so we could get all the goss.

We sat down with Lauren Arthurs (AKA Love Lauren) to chat to her about her makeup look for the night:

It’s quite simplistic and quite me, I’m definitely more comfortable when I’m wearing what I’m used to. My hair is my normal waves, and with the make up I’m going to go quite simple because my dress is a little bit glam. I think I’m gonna pare back the makeup and let the dress do all the talking.

“I don’t wear much makeup in general so I want to feel as much like myself as possible,” she told STELLAR.

We caught up with Lauren later on the red carpet, where she revealed her beautiful blush pink, Disney Princess-esque gown:

“My dress is by Eamonn McGill Design, we came up with it together and had the idea of a nice pink dress for spring,” she said. “I was nervous, I’ve never had a dress made before but he just got me. I absolutely love it. I don’t wear blush often so it’s a nice change.”

We took the opportunity to ask Lauren about her beauty must-haves (we’re jotting these down for later):

I love the Elizabeth Arden Eight-Hour Cream, especially when I’m travelling. I can just bring that everywhere for everything – for sunburn, dry lips, chapped skin, dry hands… I always bring a mini Moroccanoil mist for beach waves, it’s amazing for texture. And my MAC Modesty lipstick is my favourite, it’s the most beautiful nude shade ever and I’ve repurchased it like ten times, it’s incredible.

And her top tip? “When I tan, I put moisturiser on my hands and rub it in straight away after tanning – let your tan dry in for like five minutes, then hand cream the hell out of them. You’ll never have any streaky hands, it works like a charm.”
