Kylie Jenner Has Revealed Why She Named Her Baby Girl Stormi

We’re not going to lie, when we heard baby Stormi’s name for the first time our first thoughts may have drifted to a famous adult film star. Some people love it, some hate it, and now Kylie has finally revealed why she gave the unusual name to her first born.

In an interview with her older sister Kim Kardashian in ES Magazine, Kylie said:

I really don’t know how we thought of Storm, her dad [Travis Scott] insisted it was him, but I feel like it was me. And that kind of just stuck with us. And then I didn’t really like just Storm—I didn’t feel like that was her name. So then it became Stormi. And it just stuck.

She then added that there were actually other names she liked better than Stormi, but none fit as well.

I feel like there were a lot of other names that I might have even liked better to be honest, but I feel like Stormi picked her own name, like it was just her name.

In the interview Kylie went on to talk about motherhood and how she hopes baby Stormi will grow up.

She’s going to have her own challenges. I just hope that she’s strong and independent and confident.
