Tyga Just Took Credit For The Success Of Kylie Jenner’s Career And Fans Are Having None Of It
Excuse you....?
We all know that Kylie Jenner’s first public relationship was with US rapper Tyga, and it was a pretty controversial one at that.
From Travis Scott to French Montana, and Tyga to Kanye West, the Kardashian Jenner girls are no strangers to dating famous rappers, but no one has ever tried to take credit for the ladies success… until now that is.
Tyga, who has a four-year-old son with Blac Chyna, who has a one-year-old daughter with Rob Kardashian, who is Kylie’s half brother (controversial…yep) split with the makeup mogul just months before she became pregnant with Travis Scott’s child.
Since then, Kylie and Travis are loved up with baby Stormi, and oh yeah, the 21-year-old has just about reached billionaire status with her hugely popular online cosmetics line, Kylie Cosmetics.
We thought the two exes were on good terms, but Tyga has just now given an interview claiming that he was the one who ‘put Kylie on the map.’
Speaking to none other than Nicki Minaj, the Rack City singer said that he was even involved with naming some of the shades in Kylie’s LipKit line….
“You gotta look at the before and after. She always had a platform, and she was always destined to be where she was going to be, regardless,” he said.
“But, when I stepped in, and there was a lot of codes being taught, it was like, ‘You could do this. You should start this. You should start doing your hair like this, or you should do this. You should adapt because you need black people to f*&k with you cause you need culture.
If you ain’t got black people behind you, you ain’t got nothing—ain’t nobody going to listen. You can’t influence nobody.’ So, I had a lot to do with all that.
“I don’t need credit for it. I don’t need to go online and tell people like, ‘I did this and I’m the one who helped her come with this colors and names on her lip line.'”
This is a pretty bold claim to make, seeing as Kylie introduced Tyga to a whole new world of Instagram and online fans, but if that’s how he feel…. you do you, boo boo.
So Tyga the real genius behind Kylie’s make up? #QueenRadio pic.twitter.com/fvihXOFFvu
