J-Woww Farley Is Divorcing Her Jersey Shore Sweetheart

Jenni Farley, or J-Woww as we know her, filed for divorce earlier this month from her husband of less than three years, Roger Mathews.

J-Woww filed the paperwork citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for divorce.

New Jersey based paper The Asbury Park Press reported that J-Woww’s complaint said: “The Plaintiff and the Defendant have irreconcilable differences which have caused the breakdown of the marriage for a period of at least six months which make it appear that the marriage should be dissolved and that there is no prospect of reconciliation.”

Roger confirmed the split in a video shared to his Instagram.

“Alright, so here you go blood thirsty bastards who have to know what’s going on,” he shared in speaking to the camera. “You’re the same people who go to a hockey game to see a fight breakout and go to Nascar to see somebody wreak in a car and get mangled. Nah, I’m kidding some of you are probably actually genuinely concerned. I appreciate that.”

“There’s no cheating or any dumb s–t or an juicy details,” he continued. “It’s just she grew tired of the repetitive pattern we fell into. Again, I am not going to get into detail but it was a repetitive pattern and not a good one.”

The father of two then said he’s “not done fighting” for the future of their relationship. “I am going to win my wife back,” Roger said, “I’m going to win her affection back, I am going to win her love back. I have no intentions on being a single dad. We’re in counselling so there is hope. It ain’t over ’till the fat lady sings.”

Earlier this year Roger spoke about marriage issues he and J-Woww had, admitting they went through several ups and downs. He said, “Some days it’s a struggle to stay together. Some days she calls me a f**king d**k head (cause I am). Some days the grass looks greener on the other side. We aren’t even close to perfect and I have no intention on pretending that we are.”

Roger’s Instagram bio also reads: “Good father. Horrible husband.” Well that’s always good, isn’t it?

J-Woww and Roger are parents to 4 year-old Meilani and 2 year-old Greyson; J-Woww filed for joint custody but primary residential rights, and for child support and healthcare expenses from her soon-to-be ex-husband.

Roger occasionally appeared on episodes of the original Jersey Shore run, but he has not been involved with the most recent tapings of the rebooted version of the show Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

The split comes just shy of the couple’s third anniversary.
