Zayn Malik Said He Didn’t Make A ‘Single Friend’ While In One Direction

Zayn Malik recently told the December Issue of British Vogue that while he was a member of One Direction, he hadn’t made a “single friend”.

The singer also exclaims that he hasn’t seen any of his fellow mates in “a long time” and that the “relationships had broken apart” since he left the band in 2015.

He told the reporters: “I have always been a bit like that, though – always been a bit of an island. I don’t like to confer with too many people.”

Zayn catapulted to fame thanks to his old band who was formed on the X Factor. In 2015, he ditched the band, signing as a solo artist to label RCA. Now, he is speaking out about his relationship with the band members.

“I ain’t spoke to any of them for a long time, to be honest with you. That’s just the way it is. There’s things that happen and things that were said after I left. Snide things. Small things that I never would have expected.” Snide things? We are intrigued. Hopefully he will spill some tea about that in the future.

The 25-year-old also talked about communication between him and girlfriend Gigi Hadid, known for her huge presence in the modelling industry. “She’s super organised and I’m really not. It helps that she can get things together for me a little bit. I lean on her a lot.”

Well, let’s hope he doesn’t lean on her too much, he has to learn at some point how to balance everything by himself.
