JLS Star Oritse Williams’ House Has Burned Down Days After Rape Acquittal
The fire is being treated as suspected arson.
Oritse William’ house went up in flames on Tuesday afternoon.
This comes just days after the JLS singer was cleared of rape.
It’s been reported that 70 firefighters battled the blaze at his Croydon home where the first and second floor of the three-storey home were damaged as well as part of the roof.
Crews remain on the scene of the fire at a derelict house in #Croydon this morning, damping down hot spots. At the height of the incident last night, 10 fire engines and around 70 firefighters were tackling the blaze https://t.co/KiFQWJLsiI pic.twitter.com/c5Vep7LIAo

The fire is being treated as suspected arson according to London Fire Brigade.
Last week, the 32-year-old singer was found not guilty of rape. He had been accused of the attack by a woman following a gig in Wolverhampton in 2016.
Jurors deliberated for around two hours before unanimously acquitting the singer, who said he had consensual sex with the woman.
Is it not clear how long Oritse had been away from his home when the incident happened but it seems he had not been living there for some time.
