All Of The Best Red Carpet Looks From The Golden Globes Last Night
Gowns, glorious gowns!
Awards season kicked off with the Golden Globes last night (you can check out all of the winners here) – and as usual, the style was only mighty.
Approximately every person in Hollywood was there, so forgive us if we miss anything, but here are all of the best and worst looks from the night.
Saoirse Ronan in Celine

Swit-swoo! Saoirse always looks great when she goes slinky, and this slip dress dripping in diamantés is just that. She couldn’t be farther from Jo March’s waistcoats and sturdy boots.
Jennifer Lopez in Valentino
The dress itself is fabulous but the colours take it to Christmas present territory. If the skirt was also green, maybe we could talk?
Phoebe Waller-Bridge in Ralph & Russo
YES. It’s a tux, given a gown-like twist thanks to the lace detailing and embellishments. Stunning, and so very PWB.
Ana de Armas in Ralph & Russo
Another gorgeous creation from Ralph & Russo! Knives Out actress and newly-minted Bond Girl Ana de Armas looks every bit the movie star in this navy sequinned gown. What a dream of a dress.
Margot Robbie in Chanel
May we be forgiven for saying that we feel Chanel doesn’t do right by Margot, most of the time? This is a bit of a shrug – we do appreciate that it has pockets, though.
Jennifer Aniston in Dior
Jen, we love you, but… zzzz. For once we wish she’d turn up in an Iris van Herpen or something.
Joey King in Iris van Herpen
See what we mean? This dress is a mindf*ck in the best possible way. So beautiful.
Beyoncé
Pray for her boobs. But she looks fab, as per usual.
Scarlett Johansson in Vera Wang
Scarlett chose scarlet, and while we applaud her for going big, something about this doesn’t work for us? Maybe it’s because it looks a little like she wrapped a duvet around herself. The jewels are A+, however.
Billy Porter in Alex Vinash
We said real-life angel, he said swan – either way, this look is everything. He had a man with him whose sole job was to wrangle the feather train, and we’d expect nothing else, TBH.
Priyanka Chopra in Cristina Ottaviano
Old Hollywood glamour in a fresh colour. Well played, Priyanka.
Taylor Swift in Etro

At first we thought Ms Swift was wearing a tie dyed dress and we got scared, very scared. Her Oscar de la Renta gown for the Cats premiere was far superior to this – something about the colour scheme is washing her out.
Cynthia Erivo in Thom Browne
Cynthia is saying in her caption there that it took 11 people EIGHT HUNDRED HOURS to create her gorgeous sequinned tux-dress, so it must be a relief that she looks like a bombshell in it.
Charlize Theron in Dior
Speaking of bombshells, Bombshell actress Charlize is bringing us puke green. This just ain’t it, unfortunately.
Zoey Deutch in Fendi
The Politician actress is giving us serious 70s cult leader vibes and we love it.
Nicole Kidman in Versace
This is a tried and true silhouette for Nicole, but there’s no doubt that she wears it well. Her little gold clutch and matching earrings are cute AF!
Kerry Washington in Altuzarra
This dress is attempting a lot of things. Is it successful in any of them? To be honest… no.
Cate Blanchett in Mary Katrantzou
On anyone else, this would have looked bonkers. But Cate can pull it off, diamond bra and all.
Gwyneth Paltrow in Fendi
This is the sheer dress trend taken to its most batshit conclusion. It has to have itched like hell, and for what Gwyneth? For what?
Lucy Boynton in Louis Vuitton
We’ve seen her in a variation of this before, but she looks f**king cool and she’s trying something, so who cares?
Reese Witherspoon in Roland Mouret

Crafted from napkins and bedsheets, we assume. Another one that could have benefited from being a different colour.
Zoe Kravitz in Saint Laurent
We would take this off her body and wear it right now if we thought it would fit us. So, so cute.
Busy Philipps in Monique Lhuillier
https://www.instagram.com/p/B69Rw0vh_ss/
Adore the sexy red sequins, not gone on the wet-look hair. We thought we were leaving that trend behind in the 2010s… we were wrong.
Kaitlyn Dever in Valentino
The Booksmart and Unbelievable star went big and floral in Valentino and it totally pays off. What a way to say “I HAVE ARRIVED, HOLLYWOOD!”
Beanie Feldstein in Oscar de la Renta
Navy sequins are the thing this year, aren’t they? Beanie’s accessorising is on point.
Andrew Scott in Paul Smith

OK, we’ll show you some more men. There weren’t a ton of exciting suits, but our boy Andrew did us proud in this cream number, complete with matching dickie bow.
Chris Evans in Isaia

And Chris Evans swapped his Knives Out Aran jumpers for a burgundy corduroy suit. A hunk.
