YouTuber NikkieTutorials Has Revealed She Was Blackmailed To Come Out As Transgender

Fans and followers immediately took to social media to express their love and support

YouTube star Nikkie De Jager has revealed that she is transgender after she was forced by a blackmailer to make a coming-out video yesterday.

Uploading a video to her YouTube channel, Nikkie explained that she chose to make the video so that she could take back her ‘own power’.

Beginning the 17-minute long video she said:

“Today I am here to share something with you that I’ve always wanted to share with you one day, but under my own circumstances, and it looks like that chance has been taken away from me.”

“So today, I am taking back my own power and I have to tell you something.”

Going on to speak about her childhood and transition, the 25-year-old said:

“When I was younger I was born in the wrong body, which means that I am transgender.”

She also goes on to explain that by the age of 6, she had grown her hair long and only wore girl’s clothing. By the age of 14, and with the help and support of her mother, Nikkie explains that she began hormone therapy, and was fully transitioned by the age of 19.

Fans and followers of the much-loved beauty mogul immediately took to social media to express their love and support, with the hashtag #Iamme trending on Twitter in no time.
